Join us for a full day of teaching, worship, and spiritual renewal. The conference will feature a variety of sessions that tackle the central theme of the relationship between missions and worship, delivered by seasoned ministers and experts in worship theology.
Key Topics:
Revisiting the Purpose of the Church: Missions or Worship? In this session, we’ll explore the fundamental question: What is the ultimate purpose of the church? Should the focus be on mission, or is it worship? We will revisit the Bible’s teaching on the centrality of both in the church’s life.
Recapitulation of Divine Empowerment for Fruitfulness in Missions This session will emphasize the importance of divine empowerment for missions. How can believers and ministers tap into the Holy Spirit’s power to be fruitful in their mission work, both locally and globally?
The Wazobia Gospel Genre: A Veritable Tool for Musical Localization or a Distraction in Corporate Worship? Here, we’ll examine the influence of the popular “Wazobia Gospel” genre. Is it an effective way to localize worship music in Nigeria and Africa, or does it distract from the authenticity of corporate worship?
Making Sense of the Praise & Worship Element – The Method and Content This session will provide practical guidance on structuring praise and worship. What methods work best in a corporate worship setting? How do we ensure the content aligns with sound biblical doctrine?
Making Sense of the Praise & Worship Element – The Art of Worship Leading A hands-on session for worship leaders, focusing on the art of leading worship with both skill and spiritual sensitivity. We will cover topics such as song selection, flow, and creating an atmosphere of genuine worship.
